Job: IT Consultant.

Started playing: Learned basic chords at school when I was 10. Then started playing again at about age 16, wnet over to bass playing, performing with a couple really bad school bands. Performed excerts from Jesus Christ Superstar in Glasgow City Halls with a concert band (this was a major venue for rock acts at the time!!), stopped playing in early 20s. Started playing bass again around '95, primarily with church band. Bought the Strat in 98, been trying to play it ever since...

Main gear: Fender Mex strat, with Seymour Duncan HotRails p/up at the bridge, Fender DG-19 electro-acoustic, Fender 5 string Jazz Bass, Satellite ES-355 cheapo Indonesian copy, Fender Princeton Stereo Chorus amp, Park 15w Bass practice amp, Korg DT-3 tuner, Korg G3 fx pedal (now living in box - offers anyone?) Bespeco cheapo volume pedal, PC running Ntrack Studio, FruityLoops etc (DI from amps) Peavey XR-500 mixer amp driving ?? brand monitor speakers from PC (loud!)

Favourite music: Dave Gilmour, Deke Leonard (anyone else heard of him??), anyone who can play any musical instrument to a decent level, anyone who contributes to a Widdlefest.
