Started playing: March 1998 - my then girlfriend's dad played in a club band all over the north-east, and it was an opportunity I couldn't miss. He is now my father-in-law, and the lessons are still free :-) My wife reckons I only married her to continue the learning curve...
Main gear: Fender US Standard Telecaster '98, Vintage VS6 SG copy, Kramer Striker FR-422SM, Marshall Valvestate 8020, Johnson J-Station and an ART X-15 midi-foot controller.
Favourite music: A very broad range of tastes from Clapton, Hendrix, Sambora, Brian May, Tony Iommi, Vai to Freddy King. Current influences include Walter Trout and Steve Lukather. Coming to the guitar late, there are many artists I have never heard of, never mind listened too, and the Internet is a great introduction to them all. I'm also " discovering" Joe Satriani's earlier stuff.
