Started playing: Started playing at around 14 but quit about 20ish due probably to the attraction of life's other pleasures. Now in the mid 30s I can afford to experiment and get more 'STASH' than I could at 18. I have been affected by the GAS Fairy! I now have the time to enjoy playing and at the moment it is for personal pleasure but maybe I will inflict it on the world at large. I have however, no expectations of grandeur! Lessons have started and Robbie says that the fingers move well!
Main gear: Gretsh semi acoustic - black with single Humbucker PU and a white headpiece. Simon and Patrick CW6 spruce topped with Martin Strings. Yahama 12 sting accoustic (new as of 30/08/02). Squier Strat in shiny black with a grey mother of pearl scratch plate strung with 8 guage 'fender' strings (really this is my son's!) Yamaha AES 500 in metallic silver. This has Gibson 8's on it and has two humbucker PU's with a switch on the tone pot to half the coils. LEVINSON BLADE TEXAS in metalic cherry apple red. Fitted with a switchable pre amp for mid boost or treble/bass boost. Fitted with FENDER 3150's. ZOOM 505, KUSTOM 65w amp, seemingly expensive earphones! PC with a SB live sound card and around 30,000 midi files that i try and jam with!
